Desert Rose Selenite Crystal

Desert Rose Selenite, also known as Gypsum Rose or Sand Rose, is variety of Selenite formed in the desert by a combination of water, wind, and sand. Overtime the elements imprent rosset shaped blades on the surface of this stone. Because Desert Rose Selentite is formed by sand, it is very fragile and should be handled with care.

Associated with both the crown and root chakras slenite is both grounding and purifying. Like other forms of selenite, desert rose cleanses and charges other crystals. This makes it a great stone to use when crystal gridding, or to purify energy in your home.
